AREAS OF EXPERTISE:
Tom Lancaster is in his first season at Westcliff University and is delighted to be part of the Westcliff Family.
Tom Lancaster spent 5 seasons as assistant Coach to Martin Mcgrogan at Irvine Valley College. During his time at IVC the team won the OEC League in 2015 and finished runners up in 2016 and 2017.
In 2019 Lancaster led Woodbridge High school to the Pacific Coast League Championship for the first time in 5 years.
He has coached for the Olympic Development Program with the boys 95 age group and won a regional championship in 2012.
Lancaster has also been an assistant coach at Biola University under head coach Bryan Kuderman and at Whittier College under head coach Paul Walmsley.
Growing up in England, Lancaster played Soccer for Lichfield FC in the Midlands Combination League until 2008 when he moved to California.
Since moving to the United States, Lancaster has played for LA Strikers (CSL), OC Crew (UPSL), and was a player-coach for the Irvine Matrix (UPSL).
Lancaster holds a BSc (Hons) from the University of South Wales in Football Coaching, Development and Administration, as well as his UEFA B Coaching License and USSF National C Coaching License and, is currently working towards his Msc in Advanced Performance Football Coaching.
He has been married to his wife April since 2009.
The two live in Irvine with their young children.
