Coaches' Notes
"Faith Alvior earns player of the match versus La Sierra. Faith has been working a lot with the setters this week and it showed. She demonstrated her attacking repertoire while hitting a faster tempo set.
Samm Carelock player of the match versus Providence Christian. She was scoring at will in sets. As we needed points, Samm delivered more often than not. Her defense was great as well. Samm made adjustments to her approach to keep her scoring going.
Playing back to back matches is very rare in college volleyball. They fought until the very end as evidenced by being down 16-24 and nearly getting the comeback at 23-25. A simple ask was made of them to show their passion and joy for the game and they responded." - Head Coach Andy Cole
"We showed a lot of determination and grit today"- Sam Swanson
Westcliff Warriors will be back up North to take on Pacific Union, Simpson and UC Merced.
