Men's Volleyball opened up their 2023 season with a tough match against #8 Park University Pirates.
The 1st set saw the Warriors and Pirates exchange point after point with each other. Park slowlt extended their lead point by point. Capturing the 1st set 25-20.
The Pirates went on to win the match 3-0.
Westcliff saw some solid performances from some of the new players and returning veterans.
Gabriel Pizza hit an impressive 11 kills with 4 digs and 1 block.
Andy Jaszcynski hit a stellar 7 kills with a hitting percentage of .462.
Pawel Tuz recorded 17 assists with 1 kill and 4 total blocks at the net.
Trevor Meyer led the team in digs with a total of 8 in the match.
Westcliff will be back on the court to take on Missouri Valley and Ottawa at 3pm and 5pm PST.
