Westcliff honored its 2024 Senior Class: Gibae Kim, Jordan Di Lonardo, Nicolas Berriche, Jonas Jansen, Martin Slatsve, Janis Hinterleitner, Erik Schatzle and Facundo Palacio.
Warriors and Golden Eagles played some of the best soccer. Great challenges, Shots and all around grit and toughness from both squads. Jordan Di Lonardo after missing a penalty kick and quickly grabbing a yellow card.
Facundo Palacio was able to fight a loose ball with a heel tap to Jordan Di Lonardo who took advantage nailing the shot top bins. Di Lonardo "silenzio" the entire La Sierra fan base in the stands, "ball don't lie."
Warriors were not finished with 12 seconds left in the 1st half a creative sequence started with Jose Urdiano Morales to Jordan Di Lonardo chip to a wide open Martin Slatsve able to extend the Warriors led to 2-0.
La Sierra was pushing the Warriors putting a lot of shots in the 2nd half but the highlight of the game was the Warriors back line and defensive ability to shut down any offensive momentum.
