Don't look now, but Evan Hoosier is starting to play some high-level basketball.
The big man was once again on fire Thursday night at Riverside City College where the Westcliff men's basketball team downed Pacific Union 81-72.
Hoosier finished with a gaudy 18 and 11 including three more blocks on a fantastic 9-of-12 shooting night from the field.
But he wasn't alone.
Micaiah Hankins turned in another impressive double-double, this one of the 15 and 11 variety.
Marques Sales returned the starting lineup and provided 12 more points, while Cameron Snyder and Jeramiah Paulino provided six apiece.
Rayven Turner came off the bench in a supporting role and turned in 11 and six, and Aaron Strings was fantastic in auxiliary as well, turning in a 10-point night.
Although the Dubs didn't shoot well from range (22.2%), they managed a 49.2% clip from the field.
The Warriors won the turnover battle by a pair, but destroyed Pacific Union on the boards, finishing with a 41-15 advantage.
Westcliff (7-5, 2-0) welcomes Cal Maritime to Golden West on Saturday.
Tip is scheduled for 4 pm.
