KATIE ROUSE, ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR/ SWA

EDUCATION:

MA: Psychology, California State University, Fullerton, Ca., 2012

BA: Psychology, California State University, Fullerton, Ca., 2010

AREAS OF EXPERTISE:

Katie oversees the Sports Information team, the Events and Game Operations teams, and Athletics' Student Life. She is also involved in many other department processes. 

Katie has a background in Psychological research and studied memory and cognition in her Master's program at Cal State University, Fullerton. She enjoys the research process and the creativity and collaboration that comes with analyzing and reviewing data. 

She coached Swimming at Murrieta Mesa High School in Murrieta, Ca. for six years and loved coaching at that level. She was a part of the program growing and evolving into a CIF Southwestern League competitor. 

Katie also worked as a Sport Photographer (and was lucky enough to be a photographer at a Team USA Women's Volleyball official Blue/Red Scrimmage), a Wedding Photographer, and a Lifestyle Photographer. She still enjoys working photography in her spare time.
