5 Warriors earn Cal Pac Player of the Week Honors
Westcliff Warriors had 5 athletes earn Cal Pac Player of the Week Honors from Aug. 26th - Sept. 1st.
Men's Soccer
Jordan Di Lonardo takes home Cal Pac Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against The Master's and La Verne. In two matches Di Lonardo grabbed a total of 4 goals all of them from set pieces. Di Lonardo also grabbed a hat trick on Friday against The Master's
Jesse Heredia takes the Cal Pac Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last weekend. In two matches against The Master's and La Verne Heredia recorded 2 wins and 3 saves. Most impressive was his shutout against the Mustangs. Heredia in only his 3rd game with Westcliff climbs up to #4 All time in the program in saves.
Women's Volleyball
Samantha Carelock earns back to back Cal Pac Attacker of the Week honors for her performance last weekend. Carelock also set a record program best against Cal Tech with 29 Kills. In 4 matches Carelock grabbed a total of 50 Kills, 39 Digs, 9 Service Aces and 4 Total Blocks.
Amanda Ferreira earns her 1st Cal Pac Setter of the Week honors. Ferreira last weekend set a program best at the setter position dishing out 48 Assists in their match against Cal Tech. In 4 matches Ferreira grabbed a total of 63 Assists, 35 Digs and 10 Kills.
Sam Swanson rounds out the sweep for Warrior Volleyball with Cal Pac Defender of the Week. Swanson as the Warriors Libero earned a total of 103 receptions with a 92% reception rater along with 55 Digs in back row.
